Vinod Moonesinghe read Mechanical Engineering at the University of Westminster. Returning to Sri Lanka, he worked in both private and public sectors. He wrote for YATV and for newspapers, including regular columns in the Sunday Observer and Daily News. He edited the Environmental Foundation’s Biosphere magazine, served on the Editorial Board of the US-based SARID Journal and wrote and edited for the ADB. Latterly, he wrote for and edited business magazines.
